Aroostook Sunset Apple Tree
Aroostook Sunset apples were discovered in Ft. Fairfield in Aroostook County Maine. It is similar in flavor to Pomme Gris, with reportedly greater cold hardiness. Lovely carmine with some russeting. They are excellent for fresh eating, baking, cider, sauces, and pies.
