Large, green skinned pear with bright white flesh. It is a late ripener and will keep for up to 3 months in cold storage. Eaten off the tree it is sweet but without the wonderful complex flavors that develop about 1 month after picking. It is perfect for fresh eating once cured having a soft flesh without being mushy. It's great for juices, baking, and fresh eating.
